The presets should work on an up-to-date install of RetroArch (currently 1.9.5) without any further modification. It shouldn't be necessary to install shaders manually. For the past few days I've been messing around with CRT filters for MD and SNES games and while I like it on some games, others just looks wrong. Also, I can't get on with the default settings for these shaders, the scanlines seem to be too heavy and tough on the eyes.
