Mustangs went to PI heads in 99 but some vehicles including some of the trucks did not until a few years later. There are also Windsor vs Romeo heads but they are all compatible … WebDec 11, 2015 · 1999 f150 4.6 head swap windsor heads to romeo heads. pulled the heads off my windsor block an put romeo heads back onall new parts on the front of the motor an had the heads reworked. now the chain tensioners sound bad an making a slapping noise. no power until i get the truck up to about 2 grad be for it starts pulling.
