After messing around with settings back and forth I finally found a setup to have a entirely clean stream with no frame drop or lag :) For starters, I'm doing the streaming on single PC setup running a i7-4790K 4ghz & a GTX 1080 & 16g RAM.

WebIn practice this doesn't seem to work too well as OBS can't seem to navigate the network for the new user and stream performance tanks. Attached a screen shot of Windows user 2 trying to stream to their Twitch account. All lag is happening network side, not local. I didn't get these good of stats until switching back to OBS Studio from Streamlabs.
WebOct 22, 2024 · You're likely using h.264 cpu encoding which is the wrong choice in your situation. If you do go that route, make sure you enable quicksync.
