I'm Not really an expert but I've never put my baytril in the fridge, my vet told me not to cause it makes it more bitter and rats don't really like bitter stuff. Mine normally starts going cloudy and off around 3 or 4 weeks after getting it and its always been next to their cage. I'm sure it's still safe to use.
